Lifeless (In Haikus)

Cold the handle is

Shaking, cranking, in routine

Against running blood

Chatter in fingers

Listing tasks and typing them

Variety lost again

Wake up, go to work

Go to subway, go to work

Begin goal to work

Smile at the show now

It presses you to do so

There’s the cue, follow

Cold is artillery

Flooding like emails today

Pinning you to seat

For this prompt:

You’ve been graned magical engineering skills, but you can only use them to build one gadget or machine. What do you build?

Photographers, artists, poets: show us MACHINES

I could go on another tirade at the mundane routine our lives become in the face of these laptops and online access we now have, where money flows through machine related tasks. But you might be sick of it already. Maybe not.

Many things in real life got my attention recently. How awful. How exhausting. I hope I could keep responding to prompts.
